Project Overview
Carrigg Commercial Builders completed a comprehensive facility upgrade for the DIRIGO Program, transforming an existing building into a functional, multi-use space designed to support administrative, therapeutic, and program operations. The project modernized both interior spaces and building systems to better serve staff and program participants.
The work involved significant interior reconfiguration, infrastructure upgrades, and exterior improvements, all executed with a focus on durability, safety, and long-term performance.

Scope of Work
The project encompassed approximately 13,000 square feet of interior renovation, converting a former single-level gymnasium and adjacent areas into functional program space. Work was completed in multiple phases to support a wide range of uses within the facility.
Key elements of the scope included:
Interior demolition and selective structural modifications
Construction of new offices, computer lab, therapy room, multi-purpose room, weight room, and storage areas
Build-out of new men’s and women’s locker rooms
Extensive mechanical and electrical system upgrades
Installation of new plumbing systems
Exterior improvements, including new fire service water line installation
Tuckpointing and sealing of existing exterior brick veneer
Renovation of adjacent areas to create additional office space

Execution & Outcomes
Carrigg coordinated all phases of construction, managing sequencing, subcontractor trades, and system upgrades to ensure the project progressed efficiently and safely. Interior and exterior work was carefully integrated to deliver a cohesive, functional facility.
The completed upgrade provided the DIRIGO Program with a modernized space capable of supporting a wide range of services and activities. The project reflects Carrigg’s ability to execute complex facility upgrades that balance functionality, infrastructure improvement, and long-term usability.
