ABOUT
Carrigg Commercial Builders, LLC was founded by Robert Carrigg in 2001 with a goal of delivering the highest quality construction services to his clients. Over the years, the company has evolved into an established construction firm with superior financial strength and operating performance when compared to market standards.
Robert Carrigg was awarded the Bronze Star Medal in 2007 for his actions during Operation Iraqi Freedom while serving as a team leader in a US Army Ranger Detachment.
In 2011 the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) verified our company status. This verification process takes an in-depth look at the company’s management and financial structure. We take pride in our classification as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
PROJECTS
Carrigg Commercial Builders, LLC is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business founded in 2001 as a full‐service contracting company serving New England and the Mid‐Atlantic United States. Carrigg Commercial Builders, LLC has established an impressive past performance record of completing our projects in a timely fashion while preserving a budget. We take great pride in performing construction projects in occupied spaces in a manner that doesn’t impede the daily business operations of our client.
The existing space was converted into a clinic to better serve Women Veterans. The scope of work included: asbestos abatement, complete demolition of the area, including walls, ceilings, and flooring as well as mechanical and electrical systems.
Carrigg Commercial Builders, LLC prepared the site for all building operations, including demolition of and removal of existing structures. Abatement of asbestos materials and other hazardous materials. Upgrade of all generator controls and monitoring systems and upgraded of all secondary electrical distribution equipment and cables.
Installed all new plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
The 13,000 square foot design-build renovation project consisted of two phases. Phase one was to convert the former single level gymnasium into two levels comprised of offices, computer lab, therapy room, multi-purpose room, weight room, and storage areas, plus constructing new men’s and women’s locker rooms.
